Making the lives of disadvantaged children better is surely one of the most worthwhile volunteer programs you can devote your time to. Dedicating your attention to this cause while also visiting spectacular Nepal where you’re not only helping those in need, but soaking up the culture and atmosphere of this magical location, is even better! This program is set in city of Pokhara, where poverty and an extremely low standard of living has left many children without homes, orphaned or abandoned. Community-care centres rely on volunteers to help fill the void for these children, supplying care and attention for those who need it most. Volunteers on this program will spend quality time nurturing and helping these wonderful children who crave attention and support. Sign up to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children in need today!

The children’s home is a busy and bustling place, as volunteers work to provide the day-to-day care and compassion for children in need of support. Volunteer’s general duties include cooking and cleaning, taking the children to and from school, helping them with activities and most importantly, spending time and playing with them. Other work could include administration tasks or maintenance around the home while the children are at school. Volunteers will organize activities for the children, and spend time with them on sports or arts, crafts and music.
If you have a special hobby or skill, bring it with you and share it with them! What they want most however is simply your time. Any time spent with these disadvantaged children will help them to grow, learn and increase their self-worth. Join the team in Nepal and spend your time helping these amazing children thrive!
